UCDUnrestricted Continuous Duty: Full-load operation allowed unlimited, unlimited hours per year. Cargo vessels and fishing boats.
HDHeavy Duty: Up to 83% load, full load for 8 hrs per 24 hrs, under 6,000 hrs/year. Working, fishing, tug and ferry boats, passenger vessels.
MDMedium Duty: Up to 75% load, full load for 1 hr per 6 hrs, under 4,000 hrs/year. Pleasure and patrol boats, high-performance vessels.
